PowerPoint couldn't translate this file ?

I was trying to open power point 7.0 presentations in my power point 97 but got an error message “PowerPoint couldn't translate this file”. What should I do to solve this situation? Any help will be appreciated.

martinachrist 		This problem may be caused by the corruption or invalid formatting in the presentation which PowerPoint 97 is unable to translate. You can correct the damaged presentations with the following steps

1. First open the presentation in the PowerPoint 7.0 for the Windows 95.
2. Then on the View menu, press Slide Sorter and on the Edit menu, press Select All and then press Copy.
3. Then on the File menu, press New. Then choose the new blank presentation, and press OK.
4. Then on the View menu, press Slide Sorter and on the Edit menu, press Paste.
5. Then on the File menu, press save, and type a new name for a presentation, and finally press Save.

Now you can able to open the new presentation without any error in the PowerPoint 97 other wise you have to use ppt repair tool to repair the corrupted file.

kateroggers 		PowerPoint 97 is unable to translate because of the presentation is being corrupted but you can solve this situation with the repair tool. Use Nucleus power point repair and solve your problem. It can repair the corrupted file with fast speed and gives the output in just few minutes.
