Pentax Pro Digital SLR is not recognizing the memory card?

Pentax Pro Digital SLR is not recognizing the inserted memory card. It is showing an error message:
“Memory card could not be recognized”.
The camera is also freezing on inserting the memory card. Please help me?

The memory card is corrupted that’s why your Pentax Pro Digital SLR camera is not accepting it. These corruptions are mainly the result of an interrupted read or write operation. It may be when a card is ejected while the file is being transferred from the system to a card. The other reason can be the use of the memory card in another device or shooting the photos when camera batteries are conking out.

You can resolve this corruption by reformatting your memory card of pentax Pro Digital SLR camera. But reformatting leads to data loss. If you have the backup then you can easily restore. Otherwise you can use pentax photo recovery software to recover the lost photos from Pentax Pro Digital SLR camera.
