My MS Outlook PST file reached its limit. What should I do know?

My PST file which keeps my emails from 2 accounts has reached 1.8 GB and I can’t even archive it now. I am guessing it’s the old type of PST file that was used for that account. I know the limitation of the PST file and also the problem that was caused due to its oversize. I can feel the indications because MS Outlook’s performance has lowered a bit. But what now? I know the cause but I don’t know how to solve it. Please help me.

Yes, you are absolutely right that PST causes problems when it size goes beyond 2GB an since you have reached at the border (1.8 GB) it is quite obvious that you will have to face MS Outlook’s performance related problems. But don’t worry; you don’t have to do more to solve this problem. Just use any Split PST File software to split the PST in to two half and solve your problem. Easy isn’t it, I hope your problem will be solved know.
