How to resolve ‘Error in registry for extension “Exchange Extensions;?”’ error of MS Outlook?

When I started MS Office and tried to open Add-In Manager dialog box I have received an error message ‘Error in registry for extension “Exchange Extensions;?”’. I don’t know why and from where this error message has occurred. Is it an indication of MS Outlook corruption or something else? Please help me to resolve this error.

This error is nothing to do with your MS Outlook file, so don’t panic. It is registry related error which is caused when some of the data of MS Outlook in registry gets damaged or corrupted. To fix the problem first try to repair your registry using any registry repair tool and see if the problem further persists by send the mail twice thrice to the same recipient. If the problem still persists that means there must be some problem with your MS Outlook application. So, just as a try run Outlook 2007 Repair software and check further for the error message. I am sure that your problem will now be solved.

Well, when you try to send an e-mail message to a recipient and after 24 hrs or more when you send another e-mail message to the same recipient and during that time the Exchange Extensions string value in the registry gets corrupted this error occurs. It is nothing to do with your MS Outlook’s data and can be resolved only by repairing the registry of the OS you are using. If by performing the registry repair, the problem still persists then just use any Outlook PST Repair Vista software to repair the MS Outlook and then see if your problem is resolved.
