How to convert DVD videos back to MPG file format for reauthoring or reediting ?

I have authored and recorded a DVD video and I wish to reedit and reauthor it without reconverting it again using any VOB Converter for Mac. And moreover I don’t want the quality of the audio as well as the video to get hampered any way. How can I do this; kindly suggest?

If you are looking forward to convert a DVD video to MPG file format for reauthoring without using any VOB Converter for Mac, you can use DVD Lab Reauthor. Start the DVD Lab and make a new project. From the project, go to the Project Properties and then to the Options. Choose the Demux Directory and select the VIDEO_TS folder on your DVD. Then go through the demuxing by selecting the Join and Demultiplex to elementary streams. After doing so you need to specify where you want to keep the new Demultiplex files; whether on the desktop or in any particular drive. It would take some time to copy all the audio and the video on your hard drive. After when it is done, you can carry out the reauthoring of the DVD video in MPG file format.
