How can I resolve the freezing problem of cs3e (CS 3 extended) while opening and saving files?

I have been using cs3e for a year and form couple of days I am noticing that it freezes when I try to open or save any files. My XP does not freeze; mouse keeps active only the cs3e freezes. I don’t know what this problem is all about; I haven’t updated or downloaded anything from the net, then why this. Could you please help?

Does any kind of error message or anything like that appears on your screen, if not then try to reset the preferences by holding down Shift+Ctrl+Alt when you start up. A popup will display and you can easily set your preferences. After doing that restart your system and check if your cs3e is now working fine. If not then you need to reinstall cs3e or you need to repair the existing cs3e. Repairing is even more handy then reinstalling. So, just use any of the Photoshop Repair software to meet the need and that’s it. When you will restart I am sure that your problem will be resolved.
