Has anyone backed up jail breaked iPod?

I have a 2nd generation iPod touch with 2.2.1 firmware, which is jail broken, but I no more want this as I want to restore my previous settings and before that I want to backup its files, is it achievable has any one done this.

Kader 		Xilisoft is a good video converter that converts video, audio as well as pictures into respective popular formats in order to play them on many portable devices and mac media players. But as you mentioned that you are not able to convert the video files completely. For this, set the duration setting of the Xilisoft converter to full and then again start the process. dick11 		It’s quite complicated however you should try your best for doing iPod backup, may you achieve success in it. Jail breaking has its own advantages and disadvantages, and if you are willing to derive benefits from it you should be ready to face difficulties too.

jack11 		Have you tried Xilisoft iPod file transfer software, I think it will work for you, as it has the ability to copy music from iPod to computers and vice versa without the help of iTunes. It is simple to use, and copying time is also nominal depending upon the volume of data to be transferred. It is compatible with all iPod including iPod touch.
